Peterborough Logistics team receives National Award for Excellence

A haulage firm in Kings Cliffe, Peterborough, has received a national award in recognition of its outstanding performance within the UK’s largest and most trusted pallet network.

PC Howard based at Kings Cliffe, which is part of the Palletways UK network, received Palletways’s Platinum Award for operational excellence, presented in recognition of their ability to deliver the highest level of service to the network and their customers over the last six months.

The Platinum Award focuses on Palletways’ core deliverables and operational culture which each member in the network is measured by.

PC Howard boasts a range of services including haulage, distribution and warehousing from its sites situated across the golden triangle of logistics including in Peterborough, Corby and Northampton. With close access to the country’s major road networks, the firm uses both its own fleet and the Palletways network to ensure that 90% of its delivery points are delivered within four hours. PC Howard also offers 300,000 sq ft of warehousing giving its customers access to a full pick and pack service as well as container offloads and pallet reworking.

PC Howard currently employs 250 members of staff and boasts a 115-strong fleet of vehicles.
